Linger Art

Terms of use

Effective October 7, 2026 · for Linger Art on iPhone and Apple Vision Pro

Linger Art is made by Inquiry Health LLC ("we", "us"). By using it, you agree to these terms and to Apple's standard license below. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. The license

Your license to use Linger Art is Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA). These terms add to it. Where the two differ, the EULA governs the license itself, and these terms govern the rest. Apple isn't responsible for the app or its support; we are.

2. The guide is written with AI

The guide's tours and answers are written by artificial intelligence, from museum records, Wikipedia and other public sources, and read aloud by a computer voice. It works hard to be right, and it can still be wrong: a date, a name, a story, or which work a label names.

3. Not affiliated with any museum

Linger Art is independent. It isn't affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any museum, gallery, or collection, including any named in the app. Museum names are used only to say where a work hangs. Follow each museum's own rules about photography, phones and sound while you visit, and please keep your voice and your guide's down around other visitors.

4. Pictures of artworks

Pictures of artworks in the app come from museums' open-access collections and Wikimedia Commons, each under its own license or in the public domain. A picture's credit is shown with its work's full wall label in the app. These pictures are for viewing in the app; if you want to reuse one, check its source's license. If you believe a picture shouldn't be in the app, email us and we'll look into it promptly.

5. Passes and payment

6. Using it well

Please don't:

We may suspend access to the guide for anyone who misuses it.

7. Your privacy

How the app handles your information, including what goes to OpenAI once you allow it, is in our privacy policy.

8. No warranty

The app and the guide are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including that the guide is accurate or complete, or that the app will always be available or free of errors. Some places don't allow these exclusions, so they may not all apply to you.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Inquiry Health LLC won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the app or the guide. Our total liability for any claim about the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim, or $50, whichever is greater. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming and of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you're a consumer in a country whose laws give you rights that can't be waived, those rights still apply.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here and change the effective date; continuing to use the app after that means you accept them. If a change is significant, we'll also say so in the app.
